Estate Planning for
Non-Traditional Families
As you are probably well aware, most of the laws concerning Estate Planning are for the traditional family of mother, father, and children.
Increasingly, however, there are more and more non-traditional family units. Because of the history of our laws, these non-traditional families need to receive non-traditional Estate Planning to meet their situations and needs. For example, a spouse usually has rights and powers that a non-spouse does not have.
Another problem with non-traditional families is that they often are discriminated against by not receiving adequate and proper advice and counseling.
At Cutchin Law Firm, we do not discriminate against, nor are we judgmental about, our client’s lifestyles. What is important to us is that we provide the best legal service we can to all our clients and that we meet our clients’ needs.
