Estate Planning
Estate Planning is so essential that if you do not make your own Estate Plan, the government of South Carolina has already made one for you!!
Why be concerned with Estate Planning?
While you lead your normal day-to-day life, Estate Planning is not important to you. Perhaps this is the reason that over 70% of adults in America do not even have a Will.
Should you become mentally incompetent (not have the ability to make a rational decision), who is going to take care of matters in your life? You will not be able to, so someone else must have the authority to take care of things for you. This includes not only taking care of your assets, but also taking care of you physically and medically.
Upon your death, you, of course, will not be able to take care of your assets or to continue passing on your values to others. How will this be done and who will do it?
These and many other issues are addressed under the heading of Estate Planning. We invite you to browse through our website to learn more about this subject.
